DigiLab

DigiLab, supported by DigiCo, is a free training program dedicated to teaching beginners the basics of digital technology. Designed to bridge the digital divide, this program offers a welcoming space where each participant can progress at their own pace and acquire the fundamental skills needed to navigate an increasingly digital world.

The training covers a wide range of topics, from using computers to browsing the internet safely, to mastering Google tools. With a focus on personal development and intercultural sharing, DigiLab goes beyond technical learning to become a tool for empowerment and social inclusion. Each workshop is designed to build self-confidence, strengthen social ties, and encourage active participation in society.

Thanks to innovative methods such as peer learning and individual coaching, DigiLab enables participants to explore digital technology while acquiring transferable skills that can be applied to their daily lives, job searches, or civic engagement.

The DigiLab program is structured in progressive modules that meet participants’ needs in terms of basic digital skills. The objectives include:

  • Discover the fundamentals of computing: Familiarize participants with computer components, mouse and keyboard use, and navigation in the Windows environment.
  • Mastering essential tools: Training in the use of Google applications (Gmail, GDocs, GDrive, etc.), online information searches, and file management.
  • Browsing safely: Raising awareness of good online practices, password management, and protection against scams and phishing.
  • Develop practical skills: Incorporate exercises such as creating resumes or digital recipes to showcase achievements and build self-confidence.
  • Encourage sharing and mutual support: Use peer learning to create an environment of exchange and solidarity.

DigiLab takes an inclusive and flexible approach, allowing each participant to progress according to their needs and goals. By integrating essential digital tools into their daily lives, DigiLab beneficiaries not only acquire technical skills, but also greater autonomy in an increasingly connected world.
