The Ciné-Club des Possibles, supported by the City of Liège, is an initiative that celebrates interculturality by bringing together participants of all ages and backgrounds around cinema. This inclusive and participatory project offers monthly screenings that highlight fundamental themes such as racism, migration, social inequalities, and the discovery of foreign languages and cultures. Each session provides an opportunity to explore, through the prism of cinema, the social and cultural issues that shape our society.
The themed afternoons are divided into two parts: a screening followed by a friendly discussion. The films, often foreign, open a window onto little-known realities and provide a space for reflection and discussion. The discussion, led by trainees from the Redem’Arts training program, encourages participants to express their feelings and opinions freely and authentically.
The Film Club des Possibles is not limited to simply watching films. It builds bridges between cultures, encourages mutual understanding, and empowers participants to broaden their perspectives in a supportive and caring environment.
