{"id":3482,"date":"2024-06-21T09:42:31","date_gmt":"2024-06-21T07:42:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/trad.possibles.org\/?post_type=agrements&#038;p=3482"},"modified":"2026-03-17T10:02:27","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T09:02:27","slug":"ep-continuing-education","status":"publish","type":"agrements","link":"https:\/\/trad.possibles.org\/en\/agrements\/ep-continuing-education\/","title":{"rendered":"EP \u2013 Continuing Education"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Recognised by the Wallonie-Bruxelles Federation as part of Continuing Education (EP) since 2010, Le Monde des Possibles works to provide continuing education (for the general public) focused on the self-socioconstruction of knowledge, drawing on the experiences of participants in the fight against injustice and dissatisfaction, as expressed in our daily actions.<\/p>\n\n<p>The aim is for migrants to increase their knowledge of issues that directly concern them (\u2018Nothing about us without us\u2019), so that the experiences of participants become a source of proposals and action with our partners in Li\u00e8ge. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Solidarit\u00e9 avec les sans-papiers\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/D-ADkygwjEw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mission and objectives <\/h2>\n\n<p>Our EP workshops cover the various areas described in \u2018the possibilities\u2019 below, as well as the association&#8217;s projects.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"cta\"><a href=\"https:\/\/trad.possibles.org\/projets\/?cpt=&#038;formation_title=&#038;formation_start_date=&#038;cpt=formations\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/trad.possibles.org\/projets\/?cpt=&amp;formation_title=&amp;formation_start_date=&amp;cpt=formations\">D\u00e9couvrez toutes nos formations sur la page Formations<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>This approach is also integrated into our organizational functioning, based on hybrid shared governance. <\/p>\n\n<p>We comply with Article 1 of the decree promoting a bottom-up methodology, as outlined on the Continuing Education website of the Wallonie-Bruxelles Federation. <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>An awareness and critical understanding of the realities of society <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ability to analyse, choose, act and evaluate for participants <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attitudes of active participation in social, economic, cultural and political life <\/p>\n<cite><a href=\"http:\/\/www.educationpermanente.cfwb.be\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Source : Site web \u00c9ducation permanente<\/a>&nbsp;<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>The association&#8217;s continuing education activities are also based on advocacy work carried out by the socio-legal service and the housing service:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensuring a high-quality welcome <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting access to healthcare <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting access to decent housing <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting access to permanent residence permits <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting access to high-quality employment <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contributing to the fight against discrimination\/racism <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Defending women&#8217;s rights <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Defending LGBTQIA+ rights <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting multilingualism <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Combating the digital divide <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fighting in a unified manner against different systems of oppression <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Continuing education is therefore inseparable from the other areas of action of the Le Monde des Possibles, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/trad.possibles.org\/agrements\/centres-dinsertion-socioprofessionnelle\/\" data-type=\"agrements\" data-id=\"168\">l\u2019accompagnement socioprofessionnel<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/trad.possibles.org\/agrements\/economie-sociale-et-solidaire\/\" data-type=\"agrements\" data-id=\"171\">l\u2019\u00e9conomie sociale et solidaire<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/trad.possibles.org\/agrements\/initiative-locale-dintegration\/\" data-type=\"agrements\" data-id=\"169\">l\u2019inclusion linguistique.<\/a><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Target audience<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">People of foreign origin and people in precarious situations.<\/h3>\n\n<p>These are mainly people seeking international protection or recognised as refugees under the Geneva Convention, or undocumented migrants. More than 200 people per week from 50 different countries participate in our activities. They face difficulties such as learning a new language, living in substandard housing, and struggling to find decent work, have their qualifications recognised, or obtain asylum.  <\/p>\n\n<p>One example is the Dazibao project, which has been running since 2009 with people seeking international protection &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/dazibao.possibles.org\/\">https:\/\/dazibao.possibles.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1048\" height=\"214\" src=\"https:\/\/trad.possibles.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_media_agrement_ep_dazibao_possibles-org.png\" alt=\"img media agrement ep dazibao\" class=\"wp-image-1819\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trad.possibles.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_media_agrement_ep_dazibao_possibles-org.png 1048w, https:\/\/trad.possibles.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_media_agrement_ep_dazibao_possibles-org-768x157.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1048px) 100vw, 1048px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Continuing education workshops <\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Continuing education initiatives within projects\/accreditation Le Monde des Possibles (MDP).<\/h3>\n\n<p>Our objectives are divided into four thematic areas: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Theme 1: Creating intercultural links and combating social exclusion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Theme 2: Multilingualism and cultural promotion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Theme 3: Public policy: critical thinking and political action<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Theme 4: Self-management and inclusion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Funding and resources <\/h2>\n\n<p>We are one of 280 non-profit organisations recognised by the Wallonie-Bruxelles Federation in the field of continuing education. Cosmopolitanism; unhindered movement of exiled persons, and the end of the Dublin Regulation.<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>2. A migration policy that respects fundamental rights, with clear criteria for regularization and an independent, permanent commission.<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>3. The closure of detention centers, the end of deportations, and the end of the criminalization of undocumented immigrants.<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>4. Rethinking borders, combating security-focused and repressive approaches.<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>5. Representation of migrants in authorities that affect them<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>6. The socioeconomic empowerment of migrant women and strengthening the fight against gender-based violence.<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>7. Respect for the rights of unaccompanied foreign minors\u2014support for migrant parents and their children, particularly in a fair school system.<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>8. The assurance of access to decent housing, the \u201cright to individual well-being and common goods\u201d (RWLP).<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>9. Compliance with international conventions for decent and quality employment.<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>10. Socio-professional integration policies that recognize the skills and talents of migrant workers for their own fulfillment and not to address labor shortages.<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>11. Increase the number of social innovation hubs that promote interculturalism, the social economy, and citizen participation.<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>12. Inclusion policies that value migrants&#8217; native languages and cultural content, and tailor the \u201cintegration process\u201d to the needs of newcomers.<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>13. Activist arts that give us the strength to act\u2014civil disobedience &amp; new forms of resistance.<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>14. Companies that represent intercultural diversity and are open to new talent.<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>15. A media scene that presents a positive discourse on migration, which \u201cvalues the social contribution\u201d of foreigners.<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>16. Expand legal and safe migration pathways, including protection for climate refugees.<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>17. Defending a society or integration gives way to inclusion, with a secularism of inclusion.<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>18. Alternative spaces where new forms of solidarity can flourish\u2014citizen assemblies capable of evaluating and creating law.<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>19. Reduce and regulate the arms trade, in compliance with\u2014at a minimum\u2014international humanitarian law and existing conventions.<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>20.
